We have expanded to 16,000 square feet of showrooms filled with American and European Antique Furniture, Paintings, Tapestries, Bronze and Marble Statuary, and Fountains. People forget to look for our Quilt room, Oak room, Music area, and Depression glass room. Three generations of our family are waiting to serve you. We will be glad to share our years of knowledge and experience. We stand behind every item we sell. Our hours are Monday thru Saturday 10 am to 5 pm.

Our online store is a small taste of what we have in our 16000 sq ft of inventory. We have tried to list some prime examples of quality antiques we carry. If you see anything that strikes you we can send more pictures of similar-styled items. Also we can send more detailed pictures and measurements upon request. We have omitted many smalls in our Shop section, being as many of them are already listed in our eBay Store.

Antique American Federal Style Mahogany Serpentine Sideboard Mt. Vernon Copy

Offered for sale is an American mahogany Federal style sideboard, having a serpentine form, with an upper drawer with brass bail handles over a recessed two-door cabinet.  Each side has  a single-door cabinet.  All doors have string inlay, the cabinets with marquetry inlaid fans, on six squared and tapering legs, with string and marquetry inlaid bellflower drops. Approximate height 42", width 71.425", depth 24".According to a small label to the reverse, the piece was fashioned of old, re-purposed mahogany as a copy of a sideboard located at George Washington's home, Mount Vernon. This beautiful antique dates to the first part of the 1900's.  It is in excellent condition.
