Antique American Oak Carved Demilune China Cabinet Curved Display

1,795.00

Offered for sale is an antique American carved oak china cabinet with curved sides.  This beauty was made in the United States in the late 1800's in the manner of R.J. Horner (American, 1853-1922). The carvings are in the Renaissance Revival style with carved winged lions flanking the central glass door, hairy paw feet with casters, and a carved cornice anc central cabochon.  The central door opens to reveal 3 wood shelves and a glass shelf.  The right curved glass was replaced with lexan when recently broken.  The curved glass sides have become very difficult to replace, except with lexan.  Our photos show that the replacement does not detract from the innate beauty of this antique.  Approximate height 69.25", width 43.75", depth 19". Note:  Check out our eBay listings for the beautiful Herend porcelain collection on the shelves!
