Brass ormolu crowns the mirror and corners. It is all in original condition. The base has 3 doors below 3 dovetailed drawers. Beautiful, original white veined marble tops the cabinet. The marble has a waterline as this cabinet was in use in the bedroom holding a bowl and pitcher of water before indoor plumbing. The marble's water line was an attempt to keep water from reaching the front of the cabinet. The quality in construction, finish, and craftsmanship of this fine French piece is second to none. This fine French antique is priced very reasonably. You cannot come close to buying such a unique, beautiful piece for your home at any new furniture store! Perfect for a powder room vanity or any bathroom. The mirror detaches from the base and could be hung at the perfect height for you.
