We have expanded to 16,000 square feet of showrooms filled with American and European Antique Furniture, Paintings, Tapestries, Bronze and Marble Statuary, and Fountains. People forget to look for our Quilt room, Oak room, Music area, and Depression glass room. Three generations of our family are waiting to serve you. We will be glad to share our years of knowledge and experience. We stand behind every item we sell. Our hours are Monday thru Saturday 10 am to 5 pm.

Our eBay store is a taste of what we have in our 16000 sq ft of inventory. We have tried to list some prime examples of quality antiques we carry. If you see anything that strikes you we can send more pictures of similar-styled items. Also we can send more detailed pictures and measurements upon request.

We have extensive contacts throughout Europe, Asia and in all areas of our blessed United States. If you are searching out unique items that you do not see here, do not hesitate to Contact Us for helping you procure the items you so desire. Thanks!

By purchasing, all Buyers purchasing any of Antique Attic Imports listings acknowledge that they have completely read and agree to all terms and conditions stated in these policies. Antique Attic Imports has painstakingly developed these policies and procedures to protect the Buyer and Antique Attic Imports not reading these policies will not be accepted as an excuse for the Buyer’s dissatisfaction. Payment for an item will be considered proof of Buyer's acceptance of these terms and conditions for any dispute between the Buyer and Antique Attic Imports.

Descriptions Policy

Our items are unique, vintage (under 100 years old), antique (over 100 years old) pieces, or high-quality antique reproductions. The estimated age of each piece is clearly noted in the product description. We do our best to estimate the date of each piece honestly and accurately, but we are subject to mistakes from time to time. We make no guarantee as to age but merely provide these as a guideline for the convenience of the Buyer. Stated ages are generally within a range of plus or minus 20 years. If a Buyer has a specific question as to why a piece is dated as it is, we are happy to provide additional details that we used to determine our estimation of age. While Antique Attic is quite versed on European pieces, we are not experts concerning each and every item we sell. We simply deal in too much volume and too many different types of pieces to know everything. No dealer can represent that they know everything about everything.

Our customer’s happiness is our top priority. For this reason, we go to great lengths to fully, honestly and accurately describe our collection in our listings. While we cannot guarantee the value of the piece you purchased, we do guarantee that each piece was hand-selected by us personally and meets our definition of high quality and value. We do not sell on approval or subject to appraisal.

If there is any damage, repairs or excessive wear on a piece affecting its beauty or value, we try to clearly note that in the description. However, please keep in mind that many of our pieces are hand-carved and slight imperfections in carving are part of the nature of hand-crafted works and add to the beauty of the piece. Also, we ask you to remember that there is no such thing as a “new” antique or vintage item. Normal wear and usage marks and gradations in color associated with these items are to be expected, and in fact, appreciated. These “beauty marks” are how one tells a true antique or vintage piece from a new reproduction. We try our best to disclose any major repairs of which we are aware. Minor repairs are common and to be expected in vintage and antique pieces, and if we do not feel that the repair affects the value or the beauty of the piece, it may not be disclosed. We represent that all of our items have been well-loved and meet our high-quality standards.

Color Reproduction

We have made every effort to reproduce colors on this site as accurately as possible. However, not all computer monitors are calibrated in the same way, and therefore color variations may occur from one monitor to the next. If you are not satisfied with the color of any item you have ordered, please let us know and we’ll strive to find an agreeable solution.

Return Policy

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt of an item. Buyer must return the item in its original condition via the same carrier and shipping method used during original shipping. Insurance is required.

We must receive the item in the same condition in which it was sent. Buyer is responsible for properly packing the item. Returned items damaged due to improper packing will not be eligible for a refund. Returned items received in damaged condition due to fault of the carrier will be subject to insurance claims process. Buyer is responsible for handling these claims, as the Buyer initiated the shipment. No refund will be issued due to the potential for insurance claim settlement. We invite your communication in these matters.

We do not issue credit or refunds on shipping and handling costs to or from your destination. In the case of Free Shipping listings, we will deduct the actual cost of packaging, shipping and handling from the refund amount. Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs and fees, including insurance. Antique Attic Imports charges a 15% restocking fee with a minimum of $10.00 US for any returned item. Refund checks will be issued net of this restocking fee.

Our customers’ satisfaction is our top priority. Accordingly, we try at all costs to avoid returns. The Buyer is encouraged to ask as many questions prior to purchase as possible to avoid having to return an item.

A refusal of delivery for any reason will be considered as a return and subject to our Return Policy.

By purchasing, Buyer agrees that s/he has read and willingly accepts the Return Policy as stated in this policy by Antique Attic.

Shipping for Non-Furniture Items (Contiguous US)

We take great care in packing and shipping your purchases. Please keep in mind that packing fragile and irreplaceable vintage and antique items is not a quick or cheap endeavor. Proper packaging is expensive and bulky and takes a great deal of time to do the job correctly. Most packages will be sent through UPS or FedEx, however ABF is often more economical for larger and heavier items. Antique Attic may choose to ship via United States Postal Service (USPS) Parcel Post or Priority at its sole discretion. USPS Priority International will be used for international shipments.

Because most of our items are irreplaceable, we insure ALL shipped orders. Insurance is required on all packages sent.

In the unlikely event that damage is evident upon receipt of an order left at your door, please keep all packing material and report the damage to us immediately so that we can make a claim against the insurance policy. Digital photos from as many angles as possible are encouraged as evidentiary documentation of the condition of the package and item upon receipt. We reserve the right to request the return of damaged items.

We are always glad to answer your questions or provide you with tracking numbers. We are a small, family-owned business and our aim is to get your purchase to you as quickly as possible, as safely as possible. Delays occasionally can occur due to not having the correct packaging material on hand, missing our regularly scheduled package pickup or drop off, or severe or inclement weather while packages are in transit. We ask your consideration in matters such as these, and we try to communicate with you when delays push delivery out longer than our customers should normally anticipate. We value your inquiries should you have any questions or concerns at any time during our shipping process.

Shipping, handling and insurance charges are based on the weight and size of the individual piece, the distance to be shipped, and the value of the purchase. We strictly reserves the right to determine when and if shipments can be combined due to excess size, weight or fragility which makes it unwise or uneconominal to combine shipping. International shipping rates are determined on a case-by-case basis. If you have any questions about shipping, please call 334-792-5040 or email warren@antiqueatticdothan.com

By purchasing, Buyer agrees s/he has read and willingly accepts all Shipping Terms and Conditions as stated in this policy by Antique Attic Imports.

Shipping for Furniture (Contiguous US)

We ship your larger furniture purchases by working only with reputable blanket-wrap shipping companies that specialize in handling antiques to pack and ship your order within the contiguous United States and most places in Canada. Most items will be delivered within 3 to 6 weeks of full payment, but can take as long as 8 weeks. The delay is due to using consolidated shipping services to provide the Buyer with the most economical and safest method of transportation available. We do not ship antique/vintage furniture via freight services due to the likelihood of damage occurring during shipping. If you cannot wait this long to receive your item, please do not purchase the item or contact us to arrange expedited shipping. Of course, expedited shipping will be a considerably higher cost than consolidated shipping.

Reproduction furniture may be shipped via freight service due to the original manufacturer's packing. Freight service is normally much faster (4 - 8 business days) than vanline shipping, however delivery will be curbside only. The package will not be brought into the customer's home with white glove service. In cases where freight service is possible, customers will be given a choice as to freight or vanline service.

We cannot guarantee delivery dates once we have given the item over to the carrier, as the item is no longer in our control. All communications regarding the timing of deliveries are ESTIMATES ONLY and are not guaranteed. Refusal of delivery due to delay in shipping will be treated as a return in strict accordance with our stated Return Policy.

In most cases larger pieces of furniture such as buffets and armoires can be disassembled to make transportation easier. Our carriers will deliver the piece(s) into your home, will assemble the pieces for you, and will remove all packing materials. If you prefer to assemble pieces yourself, we’re happy to help walk you through the process over the phone.
